HISTORY OF ESTABLISHMENT
Representatives of SEVAPHARMA a.s., BioVendor - Laboratory medicine a.s., Bioveta, a.s., BIOPHARM, research institute of biopharmaceutical and veterinary drugs a.s., Zentiva Group, a.s. , LONZA BIOTEC Ltd. and Biotechnological institute AV ČR, v.v.i., met for the first time and discussed founding of a Czech biotechnological cluster. This meeting resulted in a clear support of all participants for continuing the work on founding the clusters. They agreed that now it’s necessary to approach the broadest possible spectrum of private companies, tertiary education institutions dealing with biotechnologies by questionnaires, then define cluster activities using results of the survey and also find an appropriate legal form of the bearer of the cluster activities
